The DataTrac security and transportation portal improves fleet security, performance and
profitability by visibly monitoring and tracking your fleet.
The DataTrac system is based on an ASP model that uses GPS technology to locate
vehicles and utilizes wireless data technology to communicate the information to
DataTrac's carrier grade data servers where critical information can be access anywhere at
anytime from any web enabled device.
A fleet manager can utilize the DataTrac's system to secure and manage their fleet. For
example, a vehicle accessing an unauthorized area can automatically generate a critical
alarm or system message that a fleet manager can respond to, ultimately employing a
proactive business reaction.
The system also allows a fleet manager to plan routes and to compare real-time actual
routes versus planned routes. Detailed reports such as trip, trip summary, idling, speed,
stops, alarms, DOT, Gas Tax are standard. You can utilize two-way text messaging to
improve fleet management operations through 3rd party peripheral devices. It is extremely
easy for the user to set up landmarks and to define zones to allow the customer to know
when their vehicle entered or exited area predefined geographic area. Through the utiliation
of landmarks, zones or simply an address, a fleet manager can easily find all vehicles in
proximity.
