The Avetrium Mobile Agent is a Windows Mobile/CE based application for handheld and portable / mobile computer
platforms. It includes functions such as asset enrollment, RFiD tag writing, asset scanning and real time lookups, GPS
Geo location and mapping functions (if equipped), 2 way messaging (if equipped). The Mobile Agent communicates with the
Avetrium Engine through the Avetrium Gateway over 802.11x networks, Ethernet (when the units are cradled), or GPRS if
equipped.
The core functionality of the Avetrium Mobile Agent changes depending upon the device upon which it is installed
(handheld computers / scanners, in-vehicle computers, etc.) The Mobile Agent will install seamlessly on any Avetrium
Certified Mobile Computing Devices.
